It's all party, party, party down here

I've said it before but I'll say it again - people here just go to so much trouble for dress up parties! It's terrific. A couple of weeks ago, there was a punk/disco/heavy metal themed going away party for a guy from work. I've always wanted to dress as a punk, so this seemed the perfect opportunity. Plus, I've recently discovered a shop in town that sells hundreds of different types of wigs..... Here are some pictures:

Oh and it was an awesome party too - it was well into the morning by the time we left, exhausted after much dancing! And I'm thinking about keeping the punk hair too......

More recently, there was a party with a more disgusting theme - dress up with some kind of injury or ailment! It was pretty gross, but people went to heaps of effort including making fake casts, fake scars and one guy even used a piece of lamb as his hacked off limb!! Now there's commitment!
