Christmas
Christmas seems so long ago now that it's almost not worth posting this! But I did want to include a few pics of Chrissie and all the lovely people I caught up with during my 10 days in Sydney. So here are a few highlights:
Going to see the Priscilla Queen of the Desert musical with mum and the Britties. It was as crazy as this photo below seems - awesome costumes, great music that made you want to dance in the isles and the sets were spectacular! My favourite costumes were people dressed as giant cupcakes with a cherry on their head! It was just like the movie but even better because it was live.
Another highlight was Christmas day. Mum and I took my lovely friend Keryn (who was being a Christmas orphan) over to my Aunt Rhondda and Uncle Rick's house to spend the day with their family and mum's cousin Bruce. We had a great time - Rhondda and I planned out a bit of a menu in the weeks leading up to Chrissie and we ended up with the most spectacular feast! We had about five different gormet salads plus turkey and baked salmon and then a big choc and raspberry trifle to top things off.
After we were all completely chockers with food, Keryn got out her poi (a kiwi thing with tennis balls on the ends of strings which you twirl, usually ultimately leading to fire twirling) and we all had a go. It was heaps of fun, especially when people hit themsleves in the head!!
