A Very Hungry Caterpillar

The staff of our research division at work are a pretty social bunch so we try and have a few social, outside of work things every year. Over the winter things were fairly quiet, so not long after I got back from Hobart, we decided to have a cocktail party at our house. Andrea, Matt and I set about organising glass hire and poured over cocktail books for days until we came up with an appropriate menu. The drinks all had cool, appropriately mycological or entomological names like the Very Hungry Caterpillar, Raging Root-Rotter, Sterile Soil Sample, Dothistromin Daredevil and Weed Killer. The evening turned out very well and we had heaps of fun making cocktails. Plus, we inherited quite a collection of alcoholic left overs!! Here are some pics:
